You enjoy the benefits of the ToxRat statistics package that has been tailor-made for ecotoxicology. But instead of using biotest templates for automatical evaluation you‘d prefer to only carry out evaluations manually. When doing so, you select the correct data entry templates for either metric or quantal variables, and enter your test data in the corresponding template for each individual variable at one or at several measurement timepoints. Following this, you select an appropriate statistical evaluation procedure from the menu. You carry out evaluations for different endpoints one after the other manually.
In this case ToxRat Standard is the right choice for you.
In addition to manual evaluations, you are particularly interested in biotest templates that conform to DIN / ISO (environmental samples, sewage analysis, dilution tests with algae, Lemna, Daphnia, luminescent bacteria). For these, depending on the guideline, you would like to generate a complete evaluation for several variables and endpoints (EC, LID, NOEC) simultaneously at the press of a button. When doing so, ToxRat should propose the appropriate statistical method automatically.
This purpose is served by ToxRat Monitor.
You would like to have complete flexibility in biotest evaluation. If necessary, you would like to carry out evaluations manually. You regularly carry out both aquatic and terrestrial biotests and substance analysis in accordance with DIN and OECD. These should be evaluated with just one command pursuant to the guideline provisions, whereby appropriate statistical methods are applied automatically.
ToxRat Professional offers you these possibilies and is the most comfortable way to perform biotest evaluation.
You would like to use ToxRat Professional. As you use automatic analyzers to carry out biotests, you do not want to have to enter the data received into ToxRat Professional manually but instead you‘d prefer to import it automatically. ToxRat Professional XT offers import modules/interfaces for the following biotest analyzers:
IEMS Reader MF (cell multiplication inhibition test), Tecan Spectra Fluor Plus (algae tests), Dr. Lange Lumistox (bacterial luminescence), Algae Growth Inhibition Analyzer of Abimed company (or replacement).
Common features
All ToxRat programs offer the same package of statistical methods and procedures which can be selected manually. All ToxRat programs meet GLP requirements, include a validation document and generate a comprehensive report of the results.
Differences
The various ToxRat programs differ in the scope and the number of the templates for data input. Only ToxRat Monitor and ToxRat Professional enable automatical evaluation according to specific biotest guidelines. Hence the different ToxRat programs offer different levels of comfort with statistical evaluation.
Flexibility
Requirements may change with time. ToxRat changes with them. If the range of evaluation templates that you require changes, simply upgrade your existing ToxRat licence.
